Cheap Racing Seats

Corbeau

Corbeau has an almost 50 year history with the automotive racing world.  In 1963 there was a man named Colin Folwell.  He was a race car driver.  Colin was unhappy with the seat in his race car because he felt that it was not safe enough.  He also felt that it did not give him enough of the much needed lateral support during high speed turns.  On top of that, it just was not comfortable.  He looked around a bit and did some research and could not find a seat that met his high standards of what he thought a racing seat should be.  He was determined though and went to his workshop to design what he wanted.  The result was the very first bucket seat.  When other race car drivers saw his new seat, they were so impressed that they asked him to make seats for them.  It had a snowball effect and he was soon inundated with orders and that was the birth of Corbeau.  Today they are still located in the UK and they have an unsurpassed reputation in the racing industry for their seats.

About Corbeau

Corbeau was founded by a man named Colin Folwell.  The entire name of the company is Corbeau Seats LTD. It is a company based in St. Leonards-on-Sea in the UK.  Their founder Colin was actually the inventor of bucket seats.  After he invented the bucket seat, he then started Corbeau.  (Side note: Corbeau is French for Raven) The reason Colin invented the bucket seat was because he was actually a race car driver and he was unable to find a seat that was safe, comfortable and provided support on the sides when making high speed turns.  Since he couldn’t find what he wanted he made it.  Other drivers began coming to him to make them seats like his and voila!  Corbeau was born in 1963.  Since then they have continued with the innovation that started the company and have branched out with other types of seats, harnesses and restraints and even office chairs.

Bench Seats

Rhino Seats

Rhino seats are in 2 styles: RXP Rhino and the 42 inch Baja bench.  They have available seat covers and are a very popular style choice for Jeep owners.  The RXP Rhino is actually a suspension seat.  Rhino seats are available in either vinyl or a vinyl/cloth combination.  They are an easy install too as you simply bolt them in.
