Corbeau Baja Seats

Corbeau makes a variety of different Baja seats.  Today we will talk briefly about 2 of them. 

Baja SS

The odds are that if you happen to be off road, in the mountains or even in sand dunes, you will see at least one vehicle equipped with the Baja SS seats that are made by Corbeau.   This seat was the original suspension seat made by Corbeau and has been able to effectively raise the bar while dropping the price when you are talking about suspension seats with fixed backs. 

This seat features technology that is state of the art in terms of suspension that has been integrated with the design and comfort that is synonymous with the Corbeau name.  Corbeau’s experience with performance seating along with their expertise on the comfort of seats is combined to make the Baja SS have the distinction of being one of the most sought after suspension seats that is on the market. 

One of the features of the Baja seat is that there are a total of 4 tabs that you will find on the bottom of this seat.  These tabs allow for the seat to be bolted directly to your roll cage.  However, there is a version of this seat that lacks these tabs and therefore can be bolted to a flat mounting surface or to a Corbeau bracket.  This version is the Baja JP.  However, you may still want the Baja SS and if that is the case then you can get the Baja adapter.  This adapter will bolt on to the bottom of the seat and then it can be mounted to a flat surface. 

The Baja SS is available in a variety of colors and materials.  The materials available are vinyl or a combination of cloth and vinyl.  Colors available are grey, black and red.

Baja Ultra

This is considered to be the Baja SS’s big brother.  It is not only 4 inches taller than the Baja SS, it is also an inch wider.  It features bolsters high on the sides and when you combine these bolsters with the higher back, you get the ultimate in terms of both head and lateral support.  That said, if your waist is larger than 38 inches then you may want to move on up to the wider version.  If you do this, make sure that it will fit in your rig because the wide version of the Baja Ultra seat is massive.

This seat comes in a variety of materials and colors.  The materials are vinyl and a combination of cloth and vinyl.  The colors you can choose from are grey and black. 

Both of these Baja seats are perfect for the off road enthusiast who doesn’t want to sacrifice comfort.
