Corbeau Overview

Corbeau has an almost 50 year history with the automotive racing world.  In 1963, there was a man named Colin Folwell.  He was a race car driver.  Colin was unhappy with the seat in his race car because he felt that it was not safe enough.  He also felt that it did not give him enough of the much needed lateral support during high speed turns.  On top of that, it just was not comfortable.  He looked around a bit and did some research and could not find a seat that met his high standards of what he thought a racing seat should be.  He was determined though and went to his workshop to design what he wanted.  The result was the very first bucket seat.  When other race car drivers saw his new seat, they were so impressed that they asked him to make seats for them.  It had a snowball effect and he was soon inundated with orders and that was the birth of Corbeau.  Today they are still located in the UK and they have an unsurpassed reputation in the racing industry for their seats.
